The Merchant Templates page allows the Enterprise Controller to maintain merchant templates. A typical merchant template might be "Accommodation". The grouping of merchant types allows for constraints to be applied to accounts so that the use of non-permitted (prohibited) merchant groups may be reported in an exception report.
Merchant templates are of considerable assistance to Enterprise Controllers when new users are to be established in ProMaster. Merchant templates enable an Enterprise Controller to assign a standard set of permitted merchants to an Account in one step.
