The Defined GL Alloc. tab

This tab enables you to set properties for defined window detail combinations.

To set GL allocation properties for defined windows:

1. Select the Admin tab then select the Expense Setup option from the left-hand side of the page;

2. From the Expense Setup page, select the Defined GL Alloc. tab;

3. Select the Defined Window category from the drop-down list;

4. Select the detail window(s) to set GL allocation properties from the list by activating the Select flag(s);

5. Click Set Properties;

6. From the Set GL Allocation Properties page enter the following details:

· Tax Code - Select from the drop-down list;

· Fix Tax Code? - Select from the drop-down list;

· Fix GL Code? - Select from the drop-down list;

· GL Assignment - Enter the GL code to assign to the defined window to by clicking in each segment field and making the appropriate selection from the segment search list on the right.

7. Click Update Changes.
