Modifying Tax Codes

Existing tax codes may need to be modified from time to time. An example where a tax code might need to be modified would be in the case of a change to the tax laws.

To modify a tax code:

1. Select the Admin tab then select the Tax Codes option from the left-hand side of the page;

2. From the Tax Codes page, click the Edit Tax Code icon associated with the tax code to be modified;

3. From the Tax Code Edit page, modify the following details:

· Activate? flag;

· Description;

· Tax %;

· Calculate Tax By flag;

· Domestic Default flag;

· Foreign Default flag;

· Tax Threshold details;

· GL Assignment details.

4. Click Update Changes.
