Re-setting User Passwords

It is through the User List page that you reset the passwords of users. This resets their password back to the default in case they lose or forget their login password. As soon as they login, ProMaster will prompt them for a new password to replace it.

This operation is available to those users allocated Enterprise Controller or Help Desk access rights.

To reset user access passwords:
1. Select the Admin tab;
2. From the Administration page, select the User List option on the left;
3. From the User List page, specify Search Parameters to refine your list of users;

4. Select the users whose passwords are to be reset by activating the associated Reset Password icon;
5. Confirm reset of password by clicking OK.
Passwords will be re-set to "password" and the user(s) will have to change this password (see "Changing Your Password").
